IMAGINE...
2 Billion Dollars. 400 Foundations. One Application.

How it Works

It's quite simple. Think CommonApp for college admissions, but for the nonprofit sector. That's CommonGrants.

The CommonGrants platform is designed to collect all of the information necessary to complete and submit grant applications to hundreds of U.S. foundations. It works in three easy steps.

  1. Fill Out Your Organizational Profile & Program Information
    - Once you input your contact information and upload the required documents it will populate every LOI or proposal that you send out.
  2. Find Dozens of New Grantmakers That Match Your Profile
    - Using a patent-pending algorithm we will provide you with grantmakers that match your profile. You can then choose where you would like to apply. Some Grantmakers do require an addendum, once you choose where you wish to apply, you can check the addendum’s tab to see if you need to add any information.
  3. Review and Submit your Full Proposal or Letter of Intent
    - The system will automatically populate all the information you entered into the application form. Click "Submit" and a copy will be sent to the grantmakers that you selected!
